Nghe An, Vietnam – Constant Energy and KIDO Vinh Company Limited officially inaugurated a 2.65 MWp rooftop solar power system at the KIDO Vinh factory in Lac Son Industrial Zone, Do Luong District, Nghe An Province. The project supports KIDO Vinh’s long‑term sustainability goals while enhancing clean energy adoption in waterproof and outerwear garments sector.
KIDO Vinh Company Limited was established in 2011, being the second production facility in Vietnam of KIDO industrial Co., Ltd – an outerwear manufacturer in South Korea since 1980. The newly inaugurated system has a total installed capacity of 2.65 MWp and is expected to help KIDO Vinh avoid at least 35 tons of CO₂ emissions. The clean energy generated will support daily operations and contribute to long‑term energy stability.
Despite the impact of two major storms and challenging weather conditions, the Constant Energy team ensured strong risk mitigation, strict safety adherence, and careful planning throughout the construction period. Thanks to these proactive measures, the project was delivered on time with zero accidents and no disruptions to factory operations.
This strong safety performance was acknowledged by Mr. William Lee, General Director of KIDO Vinh, who shared:
